Vigil to Stop School Closings
On Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, over 300 parents, students, teachers and community rallied at the Chgo. Board of Ed. against planned school closings and "Turnarounds" (firing all staff). 40 of them camped overnight to testify at the Board meeting the next day.
