CEO Ron Huberman Not Stepping Down
“Ron Huberman called to tell me that today’s rumor of his stepping down any time soon is untrue. CTU will continue to work in good faith with Ron Huberman and his staff to fulfill Monday’s court order to design a plan to bring back into the Chicago Public Schools system all the teachers illegally fired this summer, among other things. Righting the ‘summer of wrongs’ suffered by over 700 tenured teachers is our top priority,” said Karen Lewis, President of the Chicago Teachers Union.
