What is a CFE Fund for Teachers Fellowship?

Fund for Teachers (FFT) Fellowships are awarded to Chicago Public School educators who work full-time with students in grades PreK-12. To be selected, an interested teacher (or team of teachers) must submit a proposal that details how a self-designed summer learning experience will profoundly impact his or her teaching practice, the targeted student population, and the greater school community. Teachers are accepted based on the quality and merit of their application, as judged by a CFE-appointed selection committee.  Individual applicants are eligible for up to $5,000 and teams that consist of two or more teachers can receive up to $10,000.
