Early Childhood Bilingual/ESL Endorsement Spring 2012

Early Childhood Bilingual/ESL Endorsements
Begins spring 2012
25% discount for CTU members!
By July 1, 2014, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is mandating all early childhood teachers to hold a bilingual endorsement or approval or a Type 29 certificate if there are 20 or more preschool children with limited English proficiency in the attendance center. In order to properly certify teachers to teach preschool as specified by ISBE, the Chicago Teachers Union Quest Center has partnered with DePaul University to offer a seven-course endorsement program that will provide educators with the classes and experiences required for the Bilingual/ESL endorsement to teach the growing number of children with limited English proficiency.
